I been on this forum for a little while now and I definitely love what I see, I encourage people to keep posting I usually read throughout the forum and learned alot of different tricks with my gp. Anywayz I own a 99 gp gt I was ripped off purchasing this vehicle guy lied his way through and I got conned. Needless to say this car is a beater strut mounts toast exhaust hanging off at the manifold knocks skips and misses while running, just awful. I might turn it in to a possible cheap winter beater with parts from my other 2002 grand prix gt. My newer vehicle is an all around amazing car with very little rust and scratches some chick put it in the ditch and my $500 saved it from the junkyard. I really wanted SC but I kinda got stuck with a grand prix and they grew on me. We went all the way to muskegon from kzoo to work on it the intake was blown and left really bad milkshake massacre. Now thats finished it runs we have to do a few more things then ready for action. I would like to know what sounds good for my strut system I need new ones bad but I would want to get something 1 inch lower then it is now? Also muffler system what ever makes it breath more? Any other advice is welcome.

Look here for what to use for lowering your car:http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...r-Look-in-here!!
I would say stay away from the KYB AGX struts and just go with the GR-2/Excel G's, they are cheaper and honestly work just as well and for springs I think the ebay DNA springs aren't a huge drop like 1.5" or so. I'm sure someone else will jump in and probably be able to tell you more about lowering your car though and what to use.
As for the mufflers, you don't really have to change those for flow, changing your mufflers is more for sound than anything. For flow since you have a GT you could do a PLOG and downpipe and that will help or you could go straight to headers like the speed daddy's that most on here will use. Those are from ebay as well and usually around the $215-$250 range. Hope this helps some.
