Story: A few days ago I went to visit my parents about 60-70 miles away from the city I currently reside. Immediately after pulling onto the driveway, the low oil pressure notification came on thereafter, I pulled out and noticed a small amount of oil on the driveway, I checked the oil level and it was a little over "the mark" then drove it to Autozone, where I purchased a STP high-milage oil treatment which was used before returning back to the house.
The next day the motor seem to be having enough oil flow to not cause internal damage, so I drove back home (60-70 miles) without problems other than the annoying notification of low oil pressure.

I assume "La Negra", a 2004 Grand Prix with about 150000 miles, needs the replacement of such sensor which reads/detects the oil pressure; however, that is only an assumption.

    Any ideas?
    All are welcomed.

Yup probably faultly oil pressure sensor or the wiring.. Turn the wheel to the right.. Right by the oil filter you'll see where the sensor is.. Takes some channel lock pillars to remove it and install the new one.. Some oil will come out so have something to catch it with nearby. Also don't over tighten the new sensor.. You can also just unplug it or unplug it and look at the connection to make sure it's clean and nothing seeped into it causing it to malfunction. It only comes on when the car is basically down to 5-10psi so having it function is really useless because your motor is probably knocking by then.
