All, I changed the brakes on our 05 and now there is a clunk. I have taken apart the brakes 3 times now tiring to diagnose the issue. It didn't clunk until I changed the brakes. I had it up in the air last night and was checking suspension pieces and all seemed ok. Wheel bearings appear to be tight too. Need help. I do not have the money to dump a bunch of unneeded parts into the car. Clunk can be heard inside the car, felt in the brake pedal. Was only when the brake pedal was applied, but now it is over any bump.

What exactly did you change? Pads, rotors, calipers?

When I changed out my pads I ended up with a sharp rattle/clunk because the pads are not as tight in the caliper spring clips as they should be.

Pads. I took calipers, caliper bracket and rotors off last night and still clunking. Mine are so tight that I could barely get them back in.
