Used to have all this crap, but it was bulky and made my leg sweat plus I would accidentally hit the panic button and scare the **** out of myself.

main reason im looking for that dog leash clip again, the panic button goes off or the trunk pops open when the fob is in my pocket.

You cant even comprehend how many times iv opened my trunk from my pocket. I drove 400 miles home with it popped pouring rain the whole way snd I never noticed the DIC flashing it.

my spoiler actually does something cause the door open light stopped when it was put on lol

before hand all the time, hit a bump and the light would flash, stop and the trunk was open ever time. now i know the sound it makes as it bounces up and down. happened the other day :th_laugh-lol3:

you guys really need to keep empty pockets. when i put my keys i a pocket i remove everything else.

I do, keys go around the neck like a dork or in an empty pocket.

trust me the keys are alone in my pocket, the keys hit the buttons. i sit down, and beep beep beep lol hell i walk away a good 50 feet before putting them in my pocket after parking it.

as i understand it its a key with just a hole in the end for the key ring to keep the ring from hanging on the back side of the key.

you can fix this by shoving quicksteel in the end of yer key to make the sloot a hole and use a small intermediate spiral ring less than a half inch in dia

gm shoulda kept the smaller sized key from the 90s/00s

i wouldn't be surprised if the fix was 2 plates riveted over the slot in the key.

anyone remember the square head keys that had a slot but when you bought em they had a hole in a knock-out piece that filled the slot.

they coulda also changed the clocking of the ign switch so run would be verticle.....id figure on a small hole/head dia key like the older ones....

Ill do you one better who here remembers the octagonal gm keys from the 30's and 40's

I heard a radio dj say recently, the recalls could be a goldmine for GM. He claimed it would boost sales of other services such as tires, oil changes, brakes, etc while customers were at the dealership anyway.

any one who pays for service at a dealership after the warranty is up is a fool.
