Gonna be keepino mine until the rust finally makes it undriveable. Once that happens I buy another rust free one and swap out all the good parts. Make that the winter credit until it's rusted through too. Next car something fun and rwd. Who knows what I could afford then.

Already sold the gp, but I'll keep the Lexus for a while... it's boring to drive but very comfortable and I love all the options.

My next car will most likely be an E55 AMG. Unless I lose my mind altogether and buy a G55 AMG.

Likely never. It's how I want it.....sorta, and I know everything about it and what it still needs. The money I'd get from selling it just wouldn't feel right too me, alot of time with it and things I've done don't make the cash feel any better. Just drive it untill someone hits me or it dies.

I got my 06 sierra thats my new play toy and other daily driver but I'd still like bunch of other cars too.

    Stacks bro.

I was also considering a floor tractor.

But I'm also thinking about something silly like this:

But that engine is soooo boring. I think the engine in the current volvo would be a good candidate for it.

Look at it, a HEADER, and FUEL INJECTION, and best of all, BLUE IGNITION WIRES.

    It's for sale: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...l-my-240-stuff

It looks pretty cool if you ask me.

Look at those lovely lines. It's just begging for an injected BBC. But more realistically, a 5.3, 4l60, and a cam. Just something to run on 87 octane and sound good. Then when it's time to make some power, I wouldn't have to worry about the engine killing itself. Though the trans most definitely would. Then it'd be T56 time. The car would also need a HUD.

    Also these things:

AWD that doesn't suck like the Rs. Transmissions that don't suck like the 5 speed auto. Sound system that doesn't suck, like every P2 (granted you find a car with Dynaudio in it). And well they sound great too.

Basically that car is the only reason I could never buy a GXP. The GXP still has the 4t65e, silly crank, so no strokers. Intake manifold swaps have to be hacked together. Still FWD. Still a W body with W body interior.

Might as well put this here: Cars have nannies in them, and too many of them. They're only going to become more intrusive as well.

    Example: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...nce-is-no-joke

I had that happen once to me this past winter. It was a false alarm, though. I was passing a truck in the left lane on a sweeping left-hand bend. The radar must have picked up the truck and as I started to pass it, the car applied the brakes as hard as it could. It certainly woke me up!
Good thing no one was tailgating this person.

How long am I going to keep my "3" GP's? Lolz...

one is due to be parted out soon, keeping the good stuff! One needs rust repair and one is due for its CAM build once I have time : )

if I lost them all, I'd find another, have had a GP since 2003 (a 2001 bought used) and like em until something better comes along that's just as easy to fix, mod and play with as cheap as the GP's are, lol. Gonna be a while till that happens.

and oh, I say BS on that car soup junker, see the floor on the drivers side!?!? Certainly not a 6,000 mile car... Just sayin!

At this point, I'll be keeping it until rust makes it impossible to fix. At 325K miles and climbing there is no resale value on it, no matter how well it drives and how many parts I've replaced. I'm going to be replacing all the seats/carpet/headliner soon to freshen it up and get rid of the horribly worn out drivers seat.

I'm slowly selling off the cars I don't want/need. I have already sold the 95 Formula Firebird. Now just need to sell the 87 Nissan, 74 MG MGB GT, and most likely the 95 Bonnie at some point. That will get us down to 5 cars. Once I sell off some of my old school BMX stuff and we kill off some extra overhead from credit cards (which will be gone by 2015) we should have a nice down payment on my next car...

No plans to rid the gtp, more of a plan to keep it off the road during winter/ rain weather, wouldnt mind a nice small pos for that. I would also almost sell my soul for the 15' challenger hellcat, but money can be better spent on other things.

Currently looking for a replacement, mine runs great but needs shocks all around & AC fixed which I don't feel like doing. I have it down to a few cars but I can find fault with all of them:

E46 M3 - subframe tear issue, ****ty DD unless you spin up the RPM's on a daily basis
E90 335 - great tq & DD but unreliable with turbos, hpfp, injectors & evaporator
G8 GT - huge paint problem which leads to rust which leads to my biggest pet peeve of cars
    B6 S4 - timing chain tensioner issues $5K+ fix
04+ GP - ughh... ****ty trans, fwd
W211 E55 - beast but SBC failure & airmatic replacement wicked costly, fuel mileage worse than S4

Plus I only drive about 13,000 miles a year so tying up $20K doesn't make much financial sense either.
    2005 E55 - stock
