So after a little inspiration, I've decided to gauge how many people would be interested in retrofitted headlights for their w-body.

This will consist of the following:

    97-03 Regals (or Centurys)
    04+ Grand Prix's
And possibly 97-03 Grand Prix's (looking into this further)

What you will receive is a brand new set of headlights for your car, fitted with some of the best bi-xenon projectors (low beam and high beam) on the market today. Custom color housings and projectors will be available. And depending on how my test fitting goes, Regal and 04+ Prix owners may be able to order their headlights with 2 projectors PER headlight.

Prices will vary based on options. I know this is a major factor and I will get some prices up once I do test fitting. But currently, I'd like to see who might be interested.

Let me know, any questions feel free to ask!

    Conrad

I wouldn't recommend doing this, but retros were a must.

I think my only Camaro SS retro pictures are on my Facebook, Josh might be able to help post them.

Hmmmm classy seems to have this on lock but a little competition couldn't hurt. Pricing would help your post though so members can weigh their options.

    Any pics of your work?

The foggy side marker is actually my fault. I swapped side markers to a different set .

Pretty much this. The other guy is established, lists everything he's using, and has prices. Why should we choose you over him?

Kinda sucks you didn't post this last week, a lot of people coulda at least seen your work on Icemans car in person.

That doesn't necessarily mean the other guy's are of better quality or workmanship. Discrediting a "company" or person simply because another company is already doing it makes no sense whatsoever.

which is exactly what I didn't do.

Among other things, Classy lists what projectors he uses, and how much it will cost, and numerous people have them and have seen them. LS1 could use $10 Wal-Mart ones for all we know. Just saying "Hey I can make projectors" doesn't give me any confidence to seek interest from him without any further information.

Consider the Spyder projectors in this regard.

    A few questions/concerns

-as far as pricing goes let me guess, since classy has he's posted I'm going to guess that your going to charge slightly less to make your service seem more appealing

-I sure hope your going to post a basic price list and not make everyone have to contact you just to get a basic price through a pm or something and so everyone can see what your charging

-what made you want to consider to start doing this.. Did you just wake up and say hey classy makes money off of it let me be a offer a similar service for a cheaper price.

-I sure hope yours going to show more then one example of a set that you're done (besides icemans) I also hope your going to show pictures of a 04+, a regal etc and not just a 97-03 so we're not having to make the assumption that you can do those cars as well

-vendor status? Pretty sure you have to be a vendor to start selling a service like this so are you going to become one?

-also a few reviews of other guys who have had your retros sure wouldn't hurt. Not discrediting iceman or anything but that's just one person.. The more opinions the better

-cutoff and alignments pictures? Those of is that have done it know that getting the projector in the housing is only half the battle.. Getting the alignment and cutoff straight is another..

we'll have to talk over some kind of quasi-vendor status, yes.

I'm at work right now on my phone so I can't give a detailed response until later today. I don't know of "classy" that everyone speaks of, I've been away from GPF for at least half a year. I do have a how-to that I'll also post up later. Bio, I will message you in regards to vendor status when I'm sure I'll be doing this.

This post basically has all the bases covered, so I'll answer these questions (in red).

I just looked at his pricing and options, my retrofits will virtually be the same, and the prices will be competitive.

-I sure hope your going to post a basic price list and not make everyone have to contact you just to get a basic price through a pm or something and so everyone can see what your charging

Absolutely. And most of the options I'll offer will not raise the price- no reason to charge extra for being unique.

-what made you want to consider to start doing this.. Did you just wake up and say hey classy makes money off of it let me be a offer a similar service for a cheaper price.

I've actually contemplated doing this for a few years, when I first retro'ed my 2000 Camaro SS, 2 or 3 years ago. I went to the annual 3800 Meet and Greet in Royal Oak, MI last saturday, and it dawned on me that they'd be a popular seller.

-I sure hope yours going to show more then one example of a set that you're done (besides icemans) I also hope your going to show pictures of a 04+, a regal etc and not just a 97-03 so we're not having to make the assumption that you can do those cars as well

Supplies are incoming, I'll have detailed pictures of everything as well as prices when I finish each set. This thread is just a feeler. You can also expect the first sets for each car to be very cheap. I will need some on-car pictures.

-vendor status? Pretty sure you have to be a vendor to start selling a service like this so are you going to become one?

    Yes.

-also a few reviews of other guys who have had your retros sure wouldn't hurt. Not discrediting iceman or anything but that's just one person.. The more opinions the better

Reviews from the initial sets would be great if those people would like to.

-cutoff and alignments pictures? Those of is that have done it know that getting the projector in the housing is only half the battle.. Getting the alignment and cutoff straight is another..
    Incoming!

Pictures of previous work posted. Once I get all of the supplies I'll work on getting more pictures as well as prices.

By the way, the projectors and sealant come from theretrofitsource.com. Top notch stuff.
