I don't have pics, but I was excited to get my GP. Didn't pay anything for it initially but did put in a lot of hard hours getting my brother's truck back up and running (R&R trans, new rearend, misc other tasks). The deal was I replaced the trans and other things and in exchange he gave me the GP. It needed work since they were always short on $$ and only replaced things when it broke down but all in all was still pretty solid. Much less work than my 84 Vic needed at the time. Always liked the body style of the 97-03's so it was a no brainer and it saved me from another car payment.

Now that I have basically rebuilt 90% of everything it's running like a champ and looks nice again. Matter of fact we all piled into it today to go get some fireworks and both him and his wife (wife was the primary driver of it most of the time) commented on how nice it ran/looked after all these years. I think she would like to have it back again, lol... Sad thing is that the GP has outlasted 3 other cars that they've had since I got it. Let's just say they're not always the easiest on vehicles so there's no chance of it going back.

was looking for what I considered to be a decent sized sedan...at the time had 3 options 1) 7th Gen Honda Accord V6, 2) 6th Gen Nissan Maxima, or 3) 7th Gen GP GTP...all had to be 9k or less with 75k miles or less...@ the time it was impossible to find anything other than the GP that met the criteria...came to a point where I had no choice but to buy a car by the end of a specific weekend, spotted the GP on the web, had a buddy that knew more about GPs test drive it and run a check on it's history...car was listed as a reg GTP, and I eventually drove home as the 2nd owner of a damn clean Comp G...needless to say it grew a bit on me, and hasn't let me down so far (knock on wood)...

    day I brought her home...

I was looking for a safe sedan to pick up my kids, 160 miles away every other weekend. Thought a GP fit the bill but then realized the base models didn't have jack for safety features. Realized I would have to get a GT or blah blah. I didn't know squat about them. We rode past a dealer one day and we saw this sporty black car. We decided to test drive it and thought it was kind of a bumpy ride but a fairly slick car. Ended up snatching it and didn't even know the naming moniker meant it was supercharged.
