Oh boy lets lean it out just a liiiitttlee bit itll be fine. vrooommmmmmmmm (Insert beautiful GENV SUPERCHARGER SQUEEEEEEEEEE) CLANG BANG ting bing tink tink *Flashing CEL*

Guess who has no compression on 2 of 6 cylinders now? This guy.

Couldn't get the china boroscope to bend the right way but you can see the edge of the missing pistony bits.

    Also photo of spark plug

On the bright side I used a connection to get the entire supercharged drivetrain out of a 2001 bonneville with 110k miles delivered to Deckers shop for 400$ total. Now I can replace the torque converter that I killafied AND the engine. Fun. On the bright side ill have proper supercharged heads now so no more goofy SSM90 kit. Ill have to cut up the rails as well I suppose.

ouch. but joining the dark side is good. the 2 belt club welcomes you.

ive seen very few people who were happy with that ssm90 kit.

and 400 for a engine and tranny with 110 on it? thats a deal. you owe someone a whole lot of dinners or beers, mouth hugs even lol

Lookie at my photo of the spark plug. That there is a 8 ribbed dual belt setup with a 2.55" pulley. The nice thing about the ssm90 is it only effects your fuel rails and come clearance issues between the injectors and the blower. Otherwise every single other performance part works as per normal. I personally have loved it since the day I put it in. Its literally a 3 hour supercharger kit if your just installing the base kit. I went a tad bit farther then most but the same idea. Heck I am even running a GenV m90 blower on it which as far as I know noone else had done before. Heres a thread I did a while back from before I had the dual belt setup or intercooler. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...-wouldent-work

there was always some kind of tuning issues from posts ive read. as long as you were happy thats all that matters. shame it had to pop tho.

Oh yea. Idle fuel trims were never ever correct for more then 10 mins. I just got em close enough to keep em withen + or - 10% and learned to live with it. Other then that it was just like tuning any other setup.

You know..if that chunk of piston leaves the cylinder.. a new plug will let you keep on crusing for a while.

    yeah..that's a bit of a problem.

Recently I had a friend who misunderstood how to block off the egr from a post she read. She did lowers, blocked the coolant ports, used a penny in the egr hole and bolted it all back up. Ran good 30-45 min then #3 misfire. In diagnosing from afar, I had her pull the 5 plug and put it in 3. Fired up and no 3 misfire, no damage to plug. Told her to go get a plug and that she's super lucky it must have left the cylinder without too much damage. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the inside of that cylinder is dinged up good. But she doesn't need to swap a motor this week either...lol

God dammit I litterally listened to the piston bits travel the entire leingth of the exhaust.... I guess I have the zzp mufflers and they have almost a straight shot out of the tips.... But lets be honest with my luck it got stuck in the y piece or something dumb.
