I want to put a new exhaust on my car that will make it sound awesome and beastly. Any one know if any good resonators and mufflers that'd give my car that low rumble and beat like soundsretty lol.let me know what you know!

    Keep the stock resonator..

Choose w/e mufflers you prefer.. Personally I like Borla.

It's a 3800 so don't expect it to sound beastly.. It's not a v8 and will never sound like one.

And don't go dumb and get Flowmasters hoping to achieve that

    Turbo it.

    Cam it.

    Run an atmo dump.

    Best noise it'll make.

    For a 3800 v6, quieter is better.

3 inch DP and a glass pack with the stock mufflers is perfect

SwishGTP, I'm guessing you're a 97-03? Has anyone heard the difference between a stock 04-08 vs 3" catless downpipe with a glass pack res? That's what I'm planning on doing, but I'm not sure if there's any point to the glass pack res

I've heard some say it makes it a bit louder and throatier, but I'm wondering if that's just interior noise or also outside the car?

Here are my new Thrush Turbos with stock res thats rusting slowly. Honestly stick with some sort of resonator glasspack or actual res trust me. We put a pipe in on my dads 01 and it sounded like shiz and droned more even with stock mufflers.

Keep in mind I do have a base model. But I did go ahead and put a thrush glass pack resonator just recently because my stock res had a hole in it from running over a deer. :/
