While changing my trans mount today, I went to remove the dogbones so I could raise the engine. Turns out that my passenger side dogbone bracket snapped right off the engine. Does anyone know what the bracket is attached to? Is it the LIM or the actual head? I couldn't really tell just looking at it.

I believe it bolts to the LIM, look for the bolts you can see the one next to number 4 injector, just unbolt the bolts then go find one at a junkyard.

pick up a l67 coil bracket / strut mount, its cast steel and will never break.

Ok good, i thought that it was cast onto the LIM/head and then I'd have a big problem. I was kind of hoping it was cast on the head just so I'd have an excuse to top swap

it just bolts to the side of the head. you swap your icm and coils on the l67 bracket and ditch yours.

Does anyone have a spare one laying around/a part number? Otherwise, last time I checked the junkyard, there was an older gtp sitting in the lot so I'll just go pull one

If you dont take off the uim you have to use a combination wrench to pull the right bolt. 1/8 turn at a time! I was able to get a socket on the left.
