going to be replacing mine as well this weekend brakes and rotors, I priced it up at advance auto for around $200.

I think I might need to replace the tie rod on the drivers side as well, but I hope not, the parts not expensive its the alignment I hate paying for.

This might be a stupid question but what can you do with the old rotors? Will the autoparts store take them or can I go to a scrapyard and get a few bucks off them?

right to the scrap yard, rotors are # 1 steel and get top dollar. not like you'll get a lot of cash for 4 rotors. but if you had a 55 gallon drum full its some coin.

its worth being green and scrapping them and getting a few bucks back.

i look at it like some gas money. i think i got $15 for my old front calipers, the 4 old rotors.

another trip was like $10 for the old rack and old sway bar. and my old rad i got 6 whole bucks lol better then tossing it in the trash.

a few bucks is a few bucks these days.

hell ive been out working, seen a set sitting next to a phone pole all rusted up like some left them there for weeks, so i took them and scraped them.

ive also came across a restaurant being swapped over from buffet to kitchen style, guy was tossing all the stainless steel bath tubs out, i walked in asked if i could have it, guys like take it. i made over 800 on 2 truck loads of scrap.

talk like this makes me miss owning a pick up truck.

Haha. Really? That's not bad considering it was free for you. And yea on missing a pick up truck, can't imagine how many trips to the scrapyard you would have had to made in the regal...

Hey you could have rednecked it and tied them all together to your trunk somewhere and just dragged them all the way down. Haha. Don't think it would have been a good idea but I bet it would've been fun to watch.

W body's aren't too bad for transporting obnoxiously large items. I've hauled quite a few unusual loads in my GP lol
