So since I sold my 97 gt a few months ago now Im looking around for something to finance. Since ill be financing Ive strayed away from the grand prixs because I only like the ones before the 04 and I dont want to pay on an 11 year old car but today I looked at the cleanest 03 GTP ive ever seen. 94k miles and it seems immaculate but theyre asking like a little more than 8k plus interest on the loan. That seems outrageous to me but Im also looking into G6s and 06+ impalas...any opinions?

I would stick to newer cars like the G6 or Imp. GP parts are starting to become less plentiful as the cars phase out as the most produced GM of the time.

While the Imp isn't a sportscar, I do like the way they run/drive.

Skip that .. get the center console. I've got piles of them around here with consoles.

    what year impala was it?

I've driven a handful of 07/08 and They barely fit the description of a car. Honestly, they feel so cheap, terrible seats, and the dash/console is the most uninspired design i've ever seen in a car.

That and the fact they corner like a boat... Honestly, how are these things not upside down everywhere. the suspension is WAY to floaty for me, and the braking isn't any better.

add all that to the fact that the exterior styling is just as bad as the interior. Their just not a car I'd ever want to make payments on.

As for a G6. My grandparents have one, Black, little 4cyl, 4 door car. Really nice. I find the seats way too firm. especially if you drive long distances. your butt will be numb. As for the rest of interior. I have the same complaint with it as the Impala. Feels "cheap" and too "plasticy". Other than that, it Rides smooth, corners tight, and the little 4cyl has quite of bit of juice to give.

I have multiple friends with G6s and I dont like the interior or how cramped they are, I like the interior of the Impalas and how much more roomy they are
