Does anyone here use an in-car camera system for everyday driving? I would like to get something like this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhZ28L8X1jI#t=63 , to cover my ass for whatever reason and might be helpful in case of any act of vandalism. I know some people use phones but I just wanna get a stationary system and maybe good unit at a cheaper price cause road hawks are $300 bucks.

The G1W is a 60$ dash cam that works extremely well

    I can see it now.

    Cop: "is that camera on?"
    Kyle: "Uh.. uhmmm "
Cop: "I'll take that to review the footage, thank you"
Kyle: "So much for fighting that ticket"

I had looked into this a little bit as I drive a lot. I was planning on putting it just above my rear view mirror where it cannot be seen.

I was planning on getting a G1W as well based on some people I know with that cam and reviews here:
