Hey all, if you don't know, I bought a 98 GP a few weeks ago. Finally got it running and driving after an engine swap and some elctrical issues, and after digging, I guess it's got pioneer speakers all around. I've got a pioneer double din touch screen in my 95 corsica, and had to do quite a bit of fab work to make it fit, but it looks pretty good (IMHO).

I'm going to be selling the car, and the radio isn't going with it. I'd like to put it in my GP, but the factory radio slot is 1.5 din I believe. I have the blank cutout template that came with the radio, and it looks like I just need an extra 1/2 or 3/4 inch to make it fit.

Does anyone have a step-by-step guide, or a list of what has to be done? I'm not very good with fab work as far as plastic goes, and I guarantee if I have to chop up the dash bezel, it won't be pretty when I'm done. I'd like to do it without moving the AC controls if possible.

Can I cut up towards the vents? I haven't even pulled the bezel off yet, so I'm not sure how much room I have to work with.

Should I expect this to be a multi-day project, or something I can get done in an afternoon with a dremel and some bondo?
