So I'm driving home in my 98 gtp today and I'm on my road when I see my neighbor so I stop and back up to say hi and then he points out that my car was overheating so I look forward and there's steam coming from under the hood, so I go home and pull into the driveway (two houses down) and turn the car off and open the hood. To my surprise there's flames shooting out from the rear manifoldso I ran across the yard to get a bucket of water and put the fire out and then I disconnected the battery and a puddle of coolant started to form under the car. huh coolant... coolant doesn't burn, does it?
so now I have a mystery leak in my coolant system that could have potentially caught my car on fire. Oh yeah and its due for inspection on Monday! So, has this happened to anybody else here?
