< this guy does
I always ran 93.. Mpg is damn there same as stock if not a bit more.. Very DD friendly the exact reason I choose it over the bigger cams. Tune for it and see your mpg increase slightly.
Nope.. Never bothered to dyno it and there's no nearby local tracks unless I'm willing to drive 3 hrs or so which I'm not lol.
Wow yup i wouldn't either everything is stock on her at the moment i just tore the block down im taking it to the machine shop on fri i have ported the heads myself and am going to port the lim snd i see zzp has 150lb springs on sale im going to order those but other than balancing the bottom end and what i need for the cam the engine will b stock

The usually.
Headers, intake, 90lb springs, new stock timing chain/dampener. Left the 3.8 on for awhile and eventually threw a 3.6 on.. Oh and in still running a tune for a basic 3.6 set up tuned for a stock cam.. But the vs is rather small so it's fine.. I'll have it retuned for the vs specially soon enough
Edit: oh and my heads were milled a bit and slightly port and polished
Ok i see people like to run the 2.8 pulley if i switch streight to that do u think anything horrible will happen i know i want to run 7k rpm is the stock m90 capable of keeping up or is my trans going to let go

A 2.8 might be pushing it.. And I wouldn't just drop down right to that.. Every car is different you need to find out if your knocking or not then worry about pulley sizes and you especially need a tune by someone that knows wtf they're doing and well yup more power = more wear and tear on the trans.
True i dont doubt it who knows my trans might not last a week as it is with 250000 on the clock and a fresh motor goin in and i was going to run a zzp can tune for the cam for now but ur probly rite ill just run a stock pulley for now im working my rear off just trying to get the money together to get it ready for detroit this year but i love the sound of that cam

Upload them to photobucket then post them. And **** me if im wrong but 150# springs are a tad overkill for a VS cam. Just get some 90# springs and they should be fine.
Agree with 150s being overkill but go with 105s not 90s. New stock chain and tensioner and new valve seals modded retainers or even better titanium modded. You might not need it but 42.5 injectors would be wise. Also ide throw on some headers and an intake and a 3.25 or 3.4 with 104 al coppers.
