I have a drivers side wheel bearing that is bad on my 2007 base Grand Prix. While looking at prices on rock auto I noticed the ABS bearing is cheaper by $16 than the non-ABS bearing. Is it possible to use ABS wheel bearings in place of a non-ABS bearing?
    Thanks
    Jonathon

Yes, you'll just have to pin back the harness. Otherwise no difference.

Thanks for the quick reply. Have you done this or seen it done before?

Simple thing is cut off the pigtail...but it voids the warranty...so just ziptie the pigtail off to the side.

Never voided my warranty.. Tell them it broke off as you were taking the bearing out.

Got it installed Friday. As far as the wiring is concerned I didn't have to cut it or zip tie it. The ABS wiring bracket was already on the car so all I had to do was snap in to the bracket.

Is this the same for the rear bearings? I have the same issue and can't find a non abs bearing any where near the price of an abs one...thanks!
