alright guys this one has me confused. I went to leave work the other day and when i started the car the belt decided to break and flop around for a sec untill i turned it off. I cut both of them off and drove about a block down the street to my dads, put both the serp. and the s/c belt back on, and one of the pully's is screaming. It also feels like I lost 30hp, it used to rev all the way through first at half throttle with no boost and now it feels doggy. any ideas? I know about paracitic* drag and all that but it feels like its something more..

take the belts back off and hand spin all the pulleys. one of them is bad if the belt broke.

a/c compressors like to lock up, as well as alts, or water pumps. idlers can also seize up.
