Hey guys, been looking around the internet for best place to order some kyb struts. I would prefer to get full strut plus assemblies, but most websites I go to say that they fit GTs but not GTPs. All websites list gr2/excel-g struts themselves compatible, which are the struts which come in the assemblies..but not the whole strut plus assembly. I can't figure out why that would be and assume its just websites being stupid, but before buying them I thought I'd ask if that's true or not, and if so whats the reason?

I cant imagine it matters. Gtps had a tad more aggressive struts from the factory if I remember right. Not that it matters when your going aftermarket.

Gt and gtp struts are the same. Not sure why gtp is not listed like that

Doesn't matter if it's a GT to GTP it'll bolt put the same. The only time that you really have worry about the strut being interchangeable is when your talking about putting let's say 04-05 style struts on a 97-03 and vice versa.

So short answer... Doesn't matter if it's a GT or GTP... As long as it's from the same herbarium so just make sure it's compatible with 97-03
