Hey everyone, I've had my '02 GP for about five years now and finally joined a forum. First topic on my mind: headlights. I just removed both headlight assemblies and fitted new Sylvania Ultra bulbs. I go to put the headlight assemblies back in, and they don't fit in right and are crooked and misaligned and look bad. How can I get around this problem?

Did you make sure that the headlight "tabs" are in the correct slots on the METAL body bracket that is welded to the car??

If the 2 tabs are not in there holes, the headlights will not line up correctly.

Yup, they are in there. There's just two right: one for the corner lamp and one on the very inside behind the grille?

Thanks! If nothing else works I'll just buy some nice aftermarket units.

I wouldn't use aftermarket brackets. They cause some annoying headlight bounce. My drive side headlight doesn't let the outside tab go into the proper hole. I just tightened it down then readjusted the lights to be level. The trick to getting the outside on is make sure the inner one will be lined up and side the whole unit until the outside one goes in. At least that's how I do it.
