    Hi All,
My son has a 2006 GP and we are having issues with the blower motor not working.......and it's damn cold out!!

Here's what we've done so far:
1.Tested motor by wiring direct to battery......motor good!

2.Unplugged harness from old Resistor and plugged into new resistor, and then motor.......nothing!

3.Checked with volt meter and tested 13.9 volts running into resistor, but only .5 volts coming out of resistor and into blower motor plug.

    4. Tried this with two different resistors....same outcome.

    Checked all related fuses....all good.
Some folks are saying "ignition switch"
Some folks are saying spray electrical contact cleaner in switch and all is good.
    I'm at a loss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Here's a link to what may be happening to your car: http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...mode=1&smode=1

This is for the 97-03 GP's. I'm not sure if you can extrapolate this to an 06. The guy that wrote this up is "backinblack" and he's on this forum as well.

There are contacts in your ignition switch that wear out after time. the ignition switch i have heard is a bear to replace. I used the method in the link on my 01 gp and it worked fine.

Also make sure to check the fuses as well.
