    how does one add a wire to pin 21 for performance shift on a 2000 3.8 harness

    get a pcm pigtail from junkyard, take it apart, release terminal and remove, disassemble your connector, install pin and reassemble then solder to whatever switch setup you chose/wired up to switch it from grounded to ungrounded

    no real diagrams around. the connector is labeled and the clips to take it apart are easy to see. just go to the junk yard and practice on one there. then you can remove a pin to install in your car. I have one run to the pcm and up to the fire wall i just have never pushed it thru and wired it up. have yet to really feel the need for it.
