Oh ya tell me about it, also running live data with my scanner its showing 1 mph less than my speedo if that even means anything.
Whats your opinion about getting a 2002 pcm, engine harness, and fuse relay center?
    My local pull & save has a 2002 gt with a 3.8 n.a.

Id keep the same pcm, a gt pcm would have more runing issues. Id go for the rest tho. Youll need to add the plug for the bbc solenoid, otherwise you wont have trac control. Whats the rpo code for your cars transmission?

    F83 - ratio 3.05
    M15 - trans 4t65e
Also just remembered that the 02 does not have magnastear but the 98 did

Call me stupid if you want but i thought the 2.93 was in the diff
if not, exactly where are they, maybe i could check those to see what kind of shape they are in on the trans that was on the s.c. engine

Unsure of what all you have to change inside the tranny. And the mag steer is unimportannt (i actually have a mag rack from an 01 regal in my 97 monte without the magsteer connected). One steering uprade for ur car is a rack from a 00-05 monte, 13.2: ratio.

My cars pcm has 2.93 gears programmed and the tranny has 3.29s in it. It does all kinds of retarded stuff with the cel off lol
