Ok here goes I have a 01 GTP I blew the motor this fall so I am starting over. The mods that the car had when I bought it are 3.5 pully, cold air intake, zzp 1.0 pcm, zzp 3'' down pipe with cat, I was running autolite 605 copper core plugs. That is what I know and could see but some one was playing with the motor so I don't know what else was done but that dose not matter now as it is a five cylinder now lol. I bought a 01 gtp as a donor and it is all stock nothing has been touched so to get this motor changed and to use the mods I already have other than buying a aeroforce scan gauges what else should I do so I don't blow this engine any help will be great thank you all. Also what tune would be the best as I have a stock pcm now.

if the engine is stock run the stock pcm. put the stock pulley on there wait till you can in car tune it before dropping the pulley down.

you should get a front plog, or a set of headers too. the 3 inch dp is not safe alone really for a pulley drop.

I was thinking about a cam just have to do some reading to figure out which on is best for me and how far I want to go with the mods. Also there is the cost of it I am trying to do this on a budgit so I would need a cam that can work with stock heads as I can do the heads down the road with the engin in the car.
