Plan on getting these lights here http://www.ebay.com/itm/160979726193 and correct me if I'm wrong I can swap the OEM brackets on them so they won't bounce, then going to order a Bi-Xenon HID kit from vvme with 5k bulbs. http://www.vvme.com/hid-headlights/b...-xenon-hid-kit wondering what anyone thinks about them or if the black on the inside of the light will hinder light output.

I don't think the black upper and lower part would affect light output very much. If anything it will stop light from glaring upwards at oncoming traffic.

You will definitely need HIDs with them. These ebay black headlights have a smaller chrome reflector than stockers. But HIDs should still be ok in them. You are on the right track swapping over your OEM brackets.

the actual reflector on those are a bigger checker pattern, and of less quality material than the stock ones. i had them on my car.

you need HIDs for them to be nice. with halogen bulbs you wouldn't be able to see a damn thing.

Would getting like a the regular style ones like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-03-Pontia...b2395f&vxp=mtr still have the same reflector size as the black ones I listed. I'm not too worried about it because anything has to be an improvement over my foggy, scratched, moisture filled ones now. Just wondering how much of an impact the reflector size as you say messes with the light output.

I got the last set you showed on mine. Just put them in a week or so ago. They fit good. Brightness seems okay. Of course, I was like you, I came from foggy lenses so anything was an improvement.

Same here, when I remove it and emptied the water, I was amazed how much was in it. That's okay, if I'm ever out in the middle of nowhere and my cooling system is low, I've got water.

you realistically want as many, and as small of reflectors as possible all pointed in the right direction to make the light output "perfect". i'll just say that and leave the rest alone.

If you had to chose between the two I listed what would you pick. Just trying to get opinions

Hmmm, I'm gonna get the clear ones, I think if offsets the black of my car nice. Plus I save 50 bucks. Thanks for the info on the reflectors, was gonna buy a pair with clear corners but they had huge reflectors.
