I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and I keep getting the code saying I'm allowing too much emissions. I have a code reader/clearer. I have 155k on this car and I'm not looking to put money into it. I'm looking for an O2 simulator that works with a 2004 and can't find one! Can anyone help?

I thought about getting a new O2 but my concern is that it may be a bad cat and a new cat is not cheap. Ideally I want a simulator/emulator. Does anyone make one for my year?

They do not work right with the 01+ cars, you have a chance of the car going into a cycle of just dumping fuel. Cheepest way to fix your problem is remove cat and have a strait pipe welded in and run the spark plug non fouler. For more info just read this thread http://www.grandprixforums.net/showthread.php?t=7092
On a side note you can get a cat for >$80 from some of the vendors. http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...onverters.aspx
