So when in open loop and rpms are near 1000 engine moves allot and clunks. I have not had a chance to crawl under the car and I am one of the gov contractors working today. Is the lower engine mount or tranny mount do you think? Top mounts look good and gonna flip el this weekend while doing others. Just want to get the part while I'm in town today at lunch.

And I am not crawling under the car in slacks and dress shoes.

if you see the engine bouncing back and fourth when you shift from P to R them to D, the lower mounts are likely shot.

when you change the mounts, un bolt the dog bones, this lets the engine jack up easier from the bottom. then flip the dog bone bushings, that also helps a lot to limit the movement.

if you put the car in gear then if the engine is cocked a bit, twisted in the bay, the lower mounts are dead for sure. the pass side will litterally move to the front, or back, depending what gear your in, F or R.

If its the mounts, better to use Solid Rubber Mounts or some Poly Mounts
