Hey guys, I just bought a 2000 gtp Daytona edition, it has had been modded a bit before hand. The guy was a mechanic and knew what he was doing, somewhat. But anyway, I had a 90 bonneville for 5 years untill somebody decided they wanted to total it and not stay for the accident, I was ok tho, here comes this car, and I swear the bonnie had quicker steering, this has more weight of course but the amount of turns lock to lock was what I noticed first. Does anybody make like an f41 rack for it or something? I'm way more h-body educated

Not that I know of, you are pretty much stuck with what you got.

You can upgrade the suspension to make the car handle and make the driving feel way better.

Ok, that's what I thought. Thanks for the quick reply. Also he put solid dog bones, a 3.4 pully, colder plugs, cold air intake, and deleted the u bend and resonator. Now Im not sure if it has a tune because he said he had the line pressure raised. Which I know from cruising around is not enough. Where do I go next

Remove the 3.4 pulley before the motor kerplodes and makes you a sad panda.

Then onces that is done, you can browse the suspension section for ideas on lowering the car and upgrading the sway bars and trailing arms to improve how the car drives/turns.

I did forget to mention it's had all the suspension done, I went through hell and replaced every single suspension part on the bonnie I used to have so that's mostly why I bought it, although it has the stock skinny trailing arms, so I should get that done quickly also. Oh and 05+ Monte brakes apperently, 12.5in front I think. Drilled and slotted rotors too, actually stops unlike the bonnie lol

The guy who "somewhat" knew what he was doing and is a mechanic did NOT know what he was doing. Anybody who knows anything would know to at least put headers on as a supporting mod to a pulley drop.

Either get headers and put them on right away or change the pulley back to stock size. Or if you cant afford to do either of thoes then pull the SC belt off. The car will be slow but at least it wont be dead

Alrighty, so headers are my biggest concern for the pully? Do I need to get bigger injectors too?

    Injectors no.

Exhaust work yes, so either a powerlog and 3in downpipe or a set of headers. Or just put the stock pulley back on.
