Hey guys. I have an opportunity to buy an 01 special edition 4door GTP as well as an 02 2door anniversary GTP.

Apparently the 02 needs a ton of work. 290000kms. lock cylinder is busted and wont start, leaks antifreeze and is rusty. mostly a parts car.

the 01 needs a few things but nothing major. 260000kms, Just a blower resonator and a wheel bearing. I've had plenty of these cars and know my way around them.

    Special Edition:

    Anniversary (rough rough body):

Seller wants 3200, I talked him down to 2500.00. I think its a pretty good deal. what do you guys think?

going to take the 01 for a drive tomorrow night. hopefully it doesnt need any suspension work.

That's what I'm saying. Can't really go wrong. I could part the anniversary out for 1k and have a decent winter beater in the special edition for 1500.

Hell yea. Take them. Its always nice to have a parts car lying around owning one of these cars. Build one of the trans and motors out of the car and toss it in the better body.

So $2500 for both cars? If so you really can't beat that and can make a good amount back by parting the 40th out.

Yeah 2500 for both. Can't go see them tonight he's busy. I just don't want to miss the buy.

Part out the 40th and save some spare parts for my 40th. build a nice winter DD out of the special edition.

This way my 40th can be down for upgrades and I'm still mobile.
