Picked Up a set of 18" x8" rims today for 140 Bucks. I thought they where the right size but they are just a tiny bit too small (they fit over the lug studs but its a tight fit) So I'll have to find out what size they are ad invest in a set of wheel adapters to fit them. Also wondering what size tires I should be looking at getting. They are gonna stick out past the quarters and past the fenders so I'm not sure what size to go with.

    245 45 tires I'd say.

I'd probably sell them and buy something else though actually. Not a fan of running the adapters.

Might have a hard time fitting 245s on an 8" rim.

Wait so they have trouble fitting on the lugs or they have trouble fitting over the hub?

They dont fit over the hub centers. which is fine. My dad has a lathe and can take the metal out that needs to be for me and then they will fit on the hubs perfect. The problem is the lug studs. they go thru the holes but all the studs are against the outside of the holes. I am guessing the rims are 112's and not 114.3 (4.5) like i had thought when i measured them. I don't mind running the adapters. I like the offset stance when the wheels stick out. (Yes I know this causes faster wear of wheel bearings and ball joints and throws the camber off) But I like how it looks.

Sticking out past the fenders looks stupid and is actually illegal.

So is dark tint on windows and tail lights, loud exhaust, speeding, burning out, drifting ect but I'm sure most people on this forum do or have some of that.

As long as they aren't sticking way out I shouldn't have any problems. I see cars jacked up on 22's or 24's or whatever with the rims sticking way out and iv'e never seen one of them get pulled over. (I think jacking up cars and stuffing rims under them is stupid but as long as the person likes their car thats what matters)

245s fit on rims 7.5"-9" wide I believe. I had the same set of tires on my 17x7.5 and now in my 17x9

I've run into a few issues fitting 245's on 7.5-8" rims. Depends on the combo. Went to fit some Potenza pole position tires to a buddies 18x8" and they poked out super bad. Ended up running some same sized Kuhmo KU31's and no more poke.

Look kind of rough, clean them up and see how they look and then sell them for something else. You could get a few hundred for them and with the money you would be spending on spacers (100-200) you could get much nicer rims that fit correctly.

Well i suppose I could throw them up on Craigslist and see if they sell. Idk how much somebody will be willing to pay for them tho. They have pretty bad scuffing on the bead lip from someone running them against curbs.

What do you guys think 200 or 300?

Clean them up so they look presentable. Then throw them up for 350 obo. And leave a phone number so you actually get hits.

You don't have to put a phone number to get hits. I REFUSE to put my number up on Craigslist. I have sold all kinds of stuff there. If someone doesn't know how to use email then they shouldn't be on the internet.
