Went to a car shop few days ago, and the guy behind the counter said to me, what is that a tayota? I said no.. Then he said a ford? I said no, a pontiac.. Then he said, ohhhhhhhh its a grand am, gotacha.. I said nope, a grand prix, he said a gt? no, a 98 grand prix gtp.. id think if you work for a car shop youd know some knowledge about cars!

Hansel and Gretel is a well-known fairy tale of German origin, recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister threatened by a cannibalistic witch living deep in the forest in a house constructed of cake and confectionery. The two children save their lives by outwitting her.

Lolz autozone employees are the worse at least from what I've experienced.

I save myself the hassle and just order my own parts online and pick them up in store. It's hard to screw up that way.

    It's place specific.

I worked nights at Autozone for a couple years. I used to do plug changes on simple cars for cash out in the parking lot.

**** the WITT system...that place was dumb. Training included: YOU ONLY NEED TO KNOW HOW TO WORK A COMPUTER TO WORK HERE.

Granted, a majority of them are dumb.

Yup a majority of them are complete retards and know less about cars than the people that go in there to get blinker fluid.

I'm lucky in that the guys that work at Advance near my house are REALLY good. Every time I buy a part, one guy in particular is really good about telling me all the gotchas in the job. LOVE that place.

    Typical stereotype.

Just because you've got a bad store, doesn't mean they all are.

I totally agree with blueguy. You'd be an idiot to lump them all into one group. There are plenty of Autozones and Advance or whatever parts store you're thinking of where the people behind the counter know exactly what their doing and talking about.

I went in and asked for metric headlight fluid. They all just looked at me funny. I had a muffler bearing go bad once too but that's a whole different story.

I like the AutoZone in Davison, MI. At certain time, there's actual intelligent employee working there and no scrub to waste time. I asked for PCV valve the other day, they knew where it was and only asked for my car so I could get the right one. They even suggested nearby Radio Shack when I was looking for cig lighter in all plastic body so I could tuck them inside the dash after I plugged in dash cam, all they carried were metal body meant to be mounted. Radio Shack had a sale $6 for 5' extension. I cut it off (and later cut off the inline fuse as it was redundant).

We have 2 autozones. One is well stocked. The employees know nothing at either one. Inhave an orriellys. I know a guy from school who works there. I like it there. They're knowledgable. And advamded autoparts is thesame way.

And i do understand it being place specific blue
