I would like some ideas on where to start with the following problem:
I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. As I was sitting at a light the car stalled. It started right back up but then a few seconds later stalled again and I could not get it started after that. I popped the hood and noticed that the supercharger belt snapped and there were pieces of it everywhere. The main drive belt was still intact though but had some pieces of the supercharger belt wrapped between it and the pulley so I pulled it off and purchased new belts. I put the new main drive belt on and when I went to put the new supercharger belt on I now noticed that the front idler pulley was no longer there. Just the bolt that held it on was left so apparently the pulley snapped off and thats what busted the belt. I have run the car without the supercharger belt before so I tried starting it up but same problem. It cranks over fine but just will not start. I searched for damaged wires or sensors but I don't seem to see anything that was hit. Any suggestions on where to start would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Chuck
