Ok so I bought a 97 Grand Prix gtp for the motor in my 01 gtp because I broke a rod the 97 had a bad head gasket but ran perfect idled great and everything we pulled the motor and started tearing it down to replace the gaskets when we started putting it back together we cleaned the cylinder walls and noticed a rough spot where we guess the piston had set for awhile til they finally started it again and it broke loose possibly messing the rings and everything else up so basically I need to know whether or not to fix it and an estimated guess on how much it would take to fix it right will upload pics later
