Need to seafoam my 04 gt2 asap. Throttle body was totally caked in carbon, really bad.

Intake was pretty bad inside there.

My question is : Through the brake line, its non supercharged, and does temp matter?

Have engine warm/cold ect. It will be roughly 30-60 degrees next few days and need to know if its fine to do it when its colder out, to have the seafoam same temp as outside ect.

Any pointers is appreciated, as this car needs it pretty bad, its running good, just the way the intake looked after taking throttle body off was horrible.

For cleaning the TB, you can take the delicate sensors(such as MAF if it is in there) out off it, then use carb cleaner or TB cleaner to have it decarbed.

Well the seamfoam won't clean the UIM, if you wanted to clean that you would have to pull it. Otherwise through the brake booster is good. But please dont put any in the oil.

The brake booster doesn't hit all cyl on an NA motor?

Why not run it in the oil? I have a few times.

I thought so too, but I'm not super familiar with the NA cars.

Considering how many I've had apart...and the fact I said it does...might just mean it does. LOL

I just personally like shorter oil changer intervals to clean the motor. I've read people having good luck with and bad luck with it but i wouldn't chance it in my car. But thats me.

Proper maintenance is key. If maintained properly, you won't have to worry about this kind of stuff. I change my oil every 5k...with Mobil 1 10w40 high mileage. I've put 1k on the change so far...still looks brand new.

Not really, thicker on start up sure, but better for hot temp oil pressure and upper rpm oil pressure.

Isn't much different than running 10w30, I'd prefer the 40 weight in hotter climates or on a older motor.

And I'd just run tranny fluid in the oil instead of seafoam to cut down and clean out the inside of the motor.

Seafoam will clean the UIM and "hit all six cylinders" if drawn through the brake booster line...
The brake booster line is fed vacuum directly from the UIM so obviously any seafoam drawn through that line will pass through the UIM and all air or seafoam in the UIM is then passing through the LIM and the heads to the all combustion chambers.
I would run only run seafoam through a vac line like the brake booster line or as an additive in your fuel... I've personally seen a 3.8 start knocking during a seafoam treatment added to the oil and ran for their reccomended cleaning time.

Then what's the diff between 5w30 and 10w30 not trying to thread jack just always wondered

I've ran seafoam in my oil in a few vehicles and done so without issue. I never leave it in there long though.
