So I just completed my top swap a few days ago and have a few questions.
    1. For my boost/vacuum gauge, how much vacuum pressure is normal to see? I am seeing about 7psi at most and was wondering if that is normal or if I have a leak.
    2. I am currently running 3 pounds of boost and have no KR. How much more boost do you think it would be safe to run on a 04 gp with headers, HAI, 180 t-stat, and 3.5" pulley?
    3. My s/c sounds kinda like a waterfall. I am going to search for what I need to do to fix that because I remember seeing a thread about it but if I dont post anything about finding it then some advice with it would be nice. Thanks in advance,

    Mike

You should be seeing atleast -19 to -20in/hgs of vacuum.

Ok so I have a huge vacuum leak. I will look at it tomorrow to see where it is and try to fix that. Any answers for the other questions?

I had my dads friend who is a mechanic put this all on with some of my help and he said that I think he took off the boost sensor or something like that so to get more or less boost I need to loosen these two screws and adjust a cylinder looking thing(if I remember the correct shape) and he just had it set for 3psi cause he didnt know how much to set it to

So my boost/vacuum gauge reads -7in/hg of vacuum and my aeroforce reads -9.5. I tried spraying starting fluid by my vacuum connections and I didn't hear any difference in my engine idle. Any other ways to check for vacuum leaks?

Yeah the best way you can check for vaccum/evap leaks is with a smoke machine. Unfortunatly they are around 1k plus dollars. I modified a 50 dollar Halloween smoke machine to use on my own vehicles..... not really sure if Halloween fog is good for your engine but Ive found some hard to find leaks with it more than once....
