I started my car the other day put it in drive and nothing, like it was in neutral. I checked the fluid and it was ok. I put it in 2 and it pulls fine.I creeped it home and shut it off. Any ideas on what's wrong? Thx.

Sounds like your forward band. A rebuild is in your future.

You could also swap in a used one.

Temporarily.. you can try popping the hood, wave your hand around in a clockwise circle over the transmission slowly and say... "Abracadabra, you are all better". I doubt that'll help, hopefully you are laughing though.

Yeah there is really nothing adjustable in these transmissions. You can drive the car around but can never get out of 1st and 2nd. Your best bet is to swap it our with a used one or if you have an extra car rebuild this one.

any 4t65e-hd trans pre 2003. You will just need to swap the gears if you don't want to tune for a new gear ratio.

Yea a full tear-down and rebuild will take someone now in there before about 24 hours. This is not including taking it in and out of the car.
