So it seems to only do this on a warm start but I'll turn the key and try to start the car then the engine will just click then I'll turn the key back and try to start again right after and it starts up perfect, can't really figure out why it does that click and won't start on the first turn, maybe a spark problem? Ideas please

loud clicking, and fast when the key is turned from under the hood is a dead battery, or corroded cables.

or a bad ground on the engine.

take the cables off the battery, make sure they are clean, and were tight, if one is loose, it will also click.

the neg cable leads to the tranny bell housing, right above the starter really. bumper side of the engine. make sure its also tight and not corroded.
