You only quoted what was claimed and many people before me already told you that money was wasted. I'm smart enough to know what might be beneficial, and what is just stupid marketing.

Do they make cold air boxes for my VC breather?

Again, I was just stating what the product website claimed. Again, I bought it mainly for looks.

Ok well if you know whats beneficial for our 3800s than let us know but otherwise keep the side comments on your threads. And again, regardless of who said it, I didn't waste my money. We all buy things we think are beneficial for our 3800s and thats all I did.
Re: Cold Air Inductions INC. CAI
Some buy some that are actually beneficial to our cars

This is a public forum. If you post a thread in a public forum, be prepared for public ridicule.
I bought a downpipe out of necessity for my car, and I made an intake that works just as well as yours, but costs 75% less.
Re: Cold Air Inductions INC. CAI
Horsepower or not, a well built insulated CAI has some benefits. We all know cooler air provides more oxygen and that hot air can cause a loss in power. If your engine bay temps are around 250-300* or so at full operating temp (while air temps are already 95*) than I think a well built insulated CAI could provide some help for sure. Whether its a 5* or only 20* temp drop from the CAI, that'll be well worth it. I could write a endless list of things of how a motor could benefit from this temp drop. 5*-20* temp drop is just hypathetically speaking, the air temp your motor is pulling in whether its hot engine bay heat or close to ambient temp would be a direct result of how well your CAI is sealed and constructed. Horsepower may be hard to make but a steady cooler air temp is definitely achievable and in my book is the best benefit. If you want more power than install more power adders which in that case cooler air would be even more essential.

250-300? Is there a forest fire under your hood?

Hey im me and your you, we all purchase our own products based off our own taste. My 3800s are grey and gold but in the case I was to get a paint job I wouldn't go to your paint shop just bc they're price is 75% cheaper. You have your preference and I have mines, but don't knock someone else's.

Well over 200, but not many things are going to be around 250, but whatever things are are probably a pretty good distance from the intake I would think. Enough for the air to not be 250-300 right by the cone

I have had a TRUE cold air intake before. The piping was routed down into the bumper and the filter right next to an opening in the bumper cover. There was literally zero gain over a short ram. I took it to the track and ran the exact same time I had run the week before. If there was any gain, it was less than 1 hp over a short ram.
Re: Cold Air Inductions INC. CAI
What a stupid thread with more misinformation than a north korean news station
Re: Cold Air Inductions INC. CAI
Only way the cai is going to make a difference is if you can add more timing with the cold air you are receiving. Even idk if it would be that much of a difference

While being a true cold air thats the least efficient setup you could ever have. Proper designs will simply draw air from the fender using it as a air box because air inside the fender will always colder the engine baybair . the east amount of bends in the intake will yield the best results.
That's what I practiced when I did my intake and its a definite improvement over the factory pos.
