Yepp, just heard the news. Now no one has any excuse for charging ridiculous amounts of money for 1" chain sets. I hope a review comes out testing its true strength!

This is the second thread on the topic.

Dave is testing another solution at the moment as well.

Meh, more a heads up to the moderators who may or may not stumble upon this eventually.

Regardless, I'm curious how they figured out how to get their aftermarket inputshafts to fit.

ZZP needs to put their money in the pudding! A nice vid of a built tranny with dyno proven engine @ those HP levels running the new chain would be nice! Lol...

I might just get one for the hell of it! Could it be any worse than stock?

Going to be an epic failure......same design flaws as the 7/8" setups. It's only a matter of time before the ZZP 1" version WILL stretch. Don't get me wrong it will help the frequency of swapping out the 7/8" setups for fresh chains but this isn't going to be a game changer for the 500whp builds.

    Giant waste of a pile of money. ZZP 1" = 16% stronger compared to the 7/8" ........GMR 1" = 300% stronger 7/8"

Not sure there is a way that I could ever justify spending $750-$1000 to buy a chain that is still going to be considered a "service item" cause it's still going to stretch. Financially it makes sense to just keep running the 7/8" setup.

Just calling it!!! GMR Morse HyVo "ZX" is by far the superior chain and anyone who's done their research will still spend the ridiculous amounts of money to get a chain that wont be a wear item.

Yup. Not much stronger than a 7/8". But, there are a lot of idiots that will buy it because of the 1" size without knowing better.

You mean like guys that buy 15/16" w/o knowing what a 1" looks like? No reasearch equates to duped easily.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
