Hey guys. I'm sure most of you have seen me flopping back and forth between beefing up the car and just making it look great. I just want to get everyone's input on it. Kind of like a survey. Just tell me what you think! If you want to know more about the car you can take a quick look at my ride thread or you can just read my signature. 170k on everything. Never had any rebuilds. I'm also 17 (as of tomorrow) and going to be a junior if that influences your opinions.

    Fast > looks

but going fast means more chance of parts breaking so... plan accordingly

I dumped lots of money into my first Grand Prix making it "fast"

Now my 2nd I dumped about 1/2 that amount into making it look good and maintenance. Little bit of go fast stuff. I'm plenty happy with where it's at now. If I decide to go fast, I'll end up doing a full build on another motor, then drop that one in.

Well judging from your other thread seems like you could afford it and the payments on it if you wanted to work.

I started out with a few simple look good mods like tint, tinted tails, etc.

Then I fully redid the entire suspension. Upgraded everything that could be, and freshened up everything else.

Haven't done any go fast yet, but that's next.

Nah, definitely not swimming in cash. Not to mention it's hard to have time to work during fall and spring due to sports.

This would ALL be my money. If I sold my car I'd have about $5000 to spare on another car lol

I would fix any maintenance issues first. The worry about other stuff.

A quick gp would be your basic 3.4 setup, SD headers, colder plugs, home made open cone intake, tune, 180* tstat, Autolite 105s. If you shopped around for used pulleys and stuff you could get everything for under $400, then figure in another $200-$250 for a tune.

I'll stick to stock performance for now. Then if I feel the need to I'll start giving my car some steroids lol
