Maybe it's the locale I'm in, but I'd be surprised if even 15% are GTP's? And it's not like GP's aren't a dime a dozen around here - they're just all SE's or GT's. I could count the number of GTP's I've seen recently on one hand and still have fingers left over.

But I would have long since lost count of lower model GP's. I would argue that it's still among the top three most ubiquitous cars in this area.

(Then again, it used to be a big GM town.)

I guess you guys never run across early 90's hondas with B series swaps then. Maybe a B series with an ebay turbo, sometimes even a name brand one. Not like it matters much power wise.

Yea my ol' bonnie SSEi got alot of attention due to the whine, but then laughed at performance wise. That little M62 screamed.

Yea I know the numbers, just don't see many GTPs in my area. Especially nice ones that are taken care of.

then why the hell does it have a supercharger on a essentially bullet proof engine?

Supercharger does not make a car a sports car. It's still a family car, always has been, always will be. They added a supercharger because the NA is such a turd.

Besides the true definition of a sports car is a small, usually two seat, two door automobile designed for spirited performance and nimble handling. Sports cars may be spartan or luxurious but high maneuverability and minimum weight are requisite.

Grand Prix is a FWD, 5 seater, that handles poor, weighs too much, and with a crappy power to weight ratio.
