    MY a/c compressor has finally dies and I need help on what parts I need to buy to replace it. I could not find a guide on here or youtube to help me. I don't have lots of money but i do not want to buy all junk parts, It is 118 in phx right now. I went to parts geek dot com and they had good prices on new parts.

    If it was just the compressor that died you don't need to replace the condensor or the accumulator.

    it was recommend that I replace the condenser, but idk that may have been a play by Napa to get me to buy more parts

    Alot of places and parts store do recommend that when you replace one major part that its wise to do the the other 1-2, just so that everything is new.

    If you know that just your compressor stopped working and you know that everything else is in good condition, just do the one part and get the system recharged.

    ah, ok. i assume it original, my car is still under 130k, i have all of the previous maint. records and only the compressor was replace like 10 years ago.

    Most compressors are shipped without oil too.You may need to pick up two 12 ounce bottles of pag 150.Think with an empty system it holds like 16 ounces or somethin.
