I need some help but kind of quick. I have searched Google for this issue but seemed to come across the intake issues on earlier years, but is '07 still effected by this? The car is my mother's and she lives about an hour a half from me. I plan to go over there as soon as I am done with this thread and take a better look at it. It's been acting up for a few days. Think she told me she has put a few gallons in it since it started happening a few days ago. Tank and radiator have been empty. No signs of leaks or a coolant smell under the hood. Oil looks normal. Could removing the TB give me a look at what I would need to see? I found the how to on earlier years, but would the series iii be the same? Thanks for any help.

I'd bet it's slowly leaking from a pinhole/crack in one of the plastic coolant elbows, common 3800 issue.

Yep that's exactly what it is. Looks like another simple part that isn't the easiest to replace either... Alternator and belt tensioner have to come off it looks like??
