I'm gearing up to start ripping into my GTP this weekend, so I'm curious what the best PCM I can get (short of a dyno tune) is.

    Any thoughts?

To be honest save up some money and go the best route. I've learned my lesson about not doing it right the first time

Uh.. I need this car to be roadworthy, and soon.

So lemme put it this way: a guy walks up to you and puts a gun up to your head and says: "I NEED THIS PCM TUNED, OVERKILL OR INTENSE?" If you choose neither of these, he will shoot you in the head.

    What's your answer?

Intense, I have heard that sometimes the turn around on overkill can be a few weeks sometimes.

Yeah, but I've heard that Overkill does way better work. Not to mention their prices are cheaper.

I wish there was someone in here who has driven the work of both.

Hahah oh, we'll since you put it that way.. Lol naw, I have an overkill pcm, just got it a couple weeks ago and I like it a lot. Idk what mods you're going for or have but check in my sig and I get almost no kr at all..it really woke my car up and the shifts are so much better..unfortunately I haven't had intense before. But it took will about 2 weeks to get me mine..and he thought he shipped mine but he didn't. Then I emailed him and he shipped it n I got it two days later. Also just had to do a key relearn n that was it.

Overkill tunes are great. I got mine tuned for a basic 3.4 pulley, porter blower, open cone, headers. The only knock I see is about .3-.9* at the very top of 1st around 6200rpm.

I've not seen the scans for an intense PCM, but I have ridden in a very similar setup car, with the Intense tune, and it felt just as strong.

IMO Overkill. Will is a great guy, though he stays swamped. Turn around time might be a few weeks, but it's worth it.

    A bullet.

But seriously, DHP. It's slightly more expensive, but worth it, and it's resale value is exactly what you paid for it. Not the tune, the tuner.

I was happy with my overkill pcm before I got a real tune.

I ran an overkill tune for years and it was great. However once I got a custom tune, it was even better...

I've run a DHP, ZZP, and Intense. All performed to my expectations. Pick one and order it. They are essentially all the same as far as tweaks go.
