I have a 4 door 1999 grand prix gtp and the reflectors on my doors dont light up. Why is this. Also should there be a floor light on the passangers side when the doors are opened. Thanks.

There should be a light on the pass side floor. As for the light in your doors I think that the front two will just need replacing if thats the case. As for rear doors they are just reflectors and not actual lights I believe.

The kick panel is just held in by 2 tree style push in clips. One on each side, get down there and pull them out and the panel drops down allowing you to get at the light.

I did that and there is a bulb up there but it seems to be fixed or in other words it seems to be where its suppose to be. I'm not sure what its lighting up its next to the fuse box behind the glove box. Could someone tell me if there car has a bulb up there too. Also if my car has floor lighting on the drivers side should it definately also have it on the passengers side.

The light up by the glove box should be the glove box light. At least mine is. I would think that your car would have a pass floor light. if you look up under the dash on that side you should be able to see the spot for it.

The reflectors on the doors only light up on the front doors. The bulbs are probably burnt out. They use a 168/194 bulb. Be careful when removing the reflector. You don't want to damage the pieces that hold the reflector in.

You may have to take off your door panel and look for it. Odds are it is there somewhere unless someone cut it. They may have cut it to run power to something else that would light up with the interior lights at one point in time.

Ill have to check it out. Thanks. Do you think the same thing happened with the passenger floor light. It's not there either. Not even the little metal thing that it clips into

Could be. It is very possible that the person before you had done some floor lighting stuff and either got tired of it or wanted to put it in a different car and ripped it all out before selling it.
