I'm looking to gain more horsies. She's my second car now so I don't need fuel mileage or daily performance. Just comes out for fun but I don't want to harm anything either.

Mods are in sig. Major related mods include 9" FWI, ZZP ported SC, DHP PCM, SLP Headers, 3" Downpipe, ubend/resonator deleted w/ 3" pipe to 3" Y to Flowmaster 40's.

Ok...here's the question you're about to hear...A LOT..."Do you have a way to monitor KR?"

If yes, chances are you could possibly go to a 3.6 or 3.4 pulley. If not, time to get a scan gauge or Aeroforce to monitor what's going on. Also, you could probably benefit more from a proper tune than a pulley change. Or proper tune AND pulley change...mmm possibilities.

Oh yeah... no, no measuring device for kr. Engine runs smooth as the day she was built.

Get something to scan. 3.6-4.5 prolly best, safest option. if you get no kr n good timing, then a 3.4. But will never know without a gauge

Well, you need to be able to measure the KR...that way you know you're not blowing your pistons apart when you pulley down...mmm...dead pistons.

Scan, tune, drop... Repeat till KR cannot be tuned out, then go back one level.

Tuning to 16* timing at WOT seems to be where most report best returns. Tuning, fueling, timing are more relative than what size pulley can be utilized! You can make more power on bigger pulley with no KR then a smaller pulley that's causing KR...
