So for a few months I been working on my Spyder halo projectors (a lot of overtime at work). This is the result so far.....

Repainted more of a satin black..

    Disassembled..

    Old LED garbage...

New SMD LED's... Whits are 85mm rings and the reds are 76mm rings

    Starting assembly..

Don't mind the Michigan Croks lol...
Next comes the Projectors.....Can't leave those out!!

Just some Red LED's from radio shack..

I aimed them toward the plate..

You want to keep them behind the plate so they don't melt, not in the housing by the HID bulb..

Next drill the hole through the headlight housing...

I did use heat shrink after this was a test run..

After you run the wires back into the other 2 holes on the bottom your ready to assemble..

    Here's a before...

And the after....was still light out..

The white halo's are hooked to the fogs the reds are hooked to a push button under the dash...

Some more pics as it got darker..

This picture doesn't do the red lights in the projector justice they are very bright..

And the push button off ebay..

Next I am going to add Morimoto minis to the inside where the red halo is to make them a dual projector and might add oracle color changing halos.. sooooo TBC....

    Thanks for looking..

I bought the lights for $130.00 was on a car 2 weeks before it was rear ended. then with lights and all I would say under $80.00. Was like $36.00 for the white halo's, $12.00 for the reds, then misc wiring and all was about $15.00 and the push button was like $8.00, LED's and resistors were about $13.00. Sealer was $7.00 (all a little over estimated).. So wasn't to bad price wise, but labor and taking these things apart is a PITA!!!!

It was very time consuming do to the cheap body. A major PITA. there was some cutting and resealing but wasn't to bad.

As far as getting them apart I baked them on 225ºf for 30 minutes at a time they are clued very well. Just a side note be very very very careful with these lights takes about 2 hours each light just to get apart. I was being very careful toovso might be shorter. Take your time with these.

I will be adding the Morimoto minis to these in a month or two for a dual projector headlight and HID fogs to match. I am looking for a projector fog I can add a red halo too as well.
