ya true on the stop watch thing. Just thought I would be able to see a noticeable faster time with that much speed increase. the whole thing just seems like it acts totally different now even if this doesn't fix my problem im glad I did it, but I have my fingers crossed that it did!!

do you know what they did to the pcm tune wise? up the trans line pressure or anything like that? that would make it shift firmer.

a pcm thats been tuned should wake the car up some too. even in a stock engine, as long as it was tuned for stock of course lol

yep they up the tranny pressure, changes the maf a little, changes shift points a little, changes fuel delivery a little, said that it can up the mileage some but they don't promise that. Also says it should give about 20 horse. there is a list of about 10 things they change don't remember them all off the top of my head. Oh another one is that when you shut the car off if the temp is over 180 it will run the fans for 2 min after key is off. The website is 3800performance.com if you all wanna take a look. Ya i'm gonna say that it def. woke the car up quite a bit it runs totally different, and shifts different. The guy said they aren't out to turn your car into a race car just fix gm's screw ups and improve the performance a little. I would say as of now they did a great job on that!! He also said if I really wanna wake it up noe to go to a 3.6 pulley.

Nope. I'm just hoping that my miss is gone for good. Guess we will see in a couple days if the computer show anything.

well just an update on my car with the misfire. It has been a few wks or more now since I put the new reprogrammed pcm in. The one thing I was hoping to fix on this thing with the new computer seems to be fixed now. I haven't noticed any of the noise and bouncing or backfires since I put it in. Seems to be running smooth. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to give their car just a little more performance for a little bit of money also. Gas mileage didn't really change. The computer only costs 120 bucks I think was the total on it, if not its very close to that. Pretty cheap to make it run better. I like that fact that it also lets ur fans run for a little bit after you shut it off just to cool her down a little bit. Unfortunately it costed me 2,800 to finally figure out that all it was is a 120 dollar piece. (that kinda no really sucks!!) Put it this way I will never take it in to have the (PROFESSIONALS) work on it again!! All they want is your money. But I did do a lot of it myself also. And thanks to all of you who threw some advice my way! Im glad this site is here its awesome..
