My '70 gp smells of gas and runs rough. If this is the carb. how do you adjust it.

I'm sure cleaning it and rebuilding the carb with new jets would make a world of difference.

If it's the stock carb, I'd be willing to bet its a Rochester Quadrajunk, I mean Quadrajet. Would def. do a rebuild on it as these carbs are notorious for running rich. Then from there you can adjust as needed.

thats a quadrajet carb. aka quadrabog lol

you can get a new one, or rebuild the one you have.

theres 2 screws in the front of the carb by the lower plate, start the car, turn the screws in till the car starts to stall out, then turn them back out till it smooths out.

its best to first turn the screws in all the way, counting the turns in, that way you know where you started.

1 and a 1/2 turns out is a good place most of the time to start out.
