About the torque steer, yes its definitely there but it's almost predictable. When I first drove it I was all over the road but after driving with it for a year I can keep it in a straight line without any work. All that torque is what makes it driving in the city so much fun

Features? Sorry, but those went down the toilet after the Gen I interior redesign for '94 - '96. The comfort/support of the front seats, the quad buckets with matching rear center console, the much more elaborate DIC, etc. of the best '88 - '93 interiors has yet to be rivaled by anything offered in any GP since. GXP comes the closest seat-wise.

I'd love to have both. GXP as DD with exhaust and dem comfy seats, styling, and wheels. Then mod a 3800.

I disagree and love gxp interior way better. The seats are definitely more comfy. And the dash of gxp is sweet

.....you've owned or sat in AQ9 (14 or so way power) seats to compare?

And I'll give you the build quality of the '04+ GP interior is way better, but I can't stand the design. First time I saw it, all I could think was ...who the hell came UP with this? Huge HVAC vents (and way too many of them), tiny stereo and HVAC control knobs. Really squared off stereo, HVAC control unit and cubby sections, yet huge, accentuated round gauges. Tiny power windows/doors/mirrors switches in a squared off section, huge round trim/cup around inside door handle, etc. From an aesthetic/design viewpoint, there's no flow or theme or proper proportioning to the interior what so ever. Everything looks so random. And the DIC pales in comparison to what the pre-'94 units displayed.

I have a 05 Gxp so your not the only one lol but compared to my buddy's 02 gtp I beat it by 2 cars with him having a cone filter and 3.4 pulley and I enjoy my interior/seats/design way better!!! Granted that you can mod a 3800 more/cheaper the roar of the ls4 and the power that can be unleashed is fun but the tranny is a issue and the cv shafts. With that being said I love my Gxp and wouldn't go back to a gtp model the tq steer takes a little to handle but it's fun to have that much power/tq in a family car and you can't beat the sound with a 3800
It is just a FAMILY CAR

As an avid multi 3800 charged power car owner, it hurts me every time I see one of these guys roll up beside me, enjoying that most times modified V8 exhaust rumble...only to find out that my pulley, intake, rockers and header work make him cry. It seems their DoD just can't kick into 8 cylinders quickly enough...ever.

The GXP has the sound, but the aluminum block heat transfer is a big issue. I would run a modded 3800 any day over the GXP...

Vtec...All the lag and none the turbo...it's like waiting for bad sex
